Song of the Day – Grown Men Don’t Cry by Tim McGraw

Just another good song.  I don’t have much to say about it besides the fact that I love it.  I remember singing to this with my step-father when I was younger.  For a sad song it brings back some good memories.

I also love and respect that it is a song by a country music singer who is telling us that grown men can show their emotion and that is okay.  So many men, especially southern men, seem to have issues showing emotion.  If not that, they tend to have issues with other men who show their emotions.  Crying and showing emotion is a fact of life.  It should be embraced.

Anyways, whether you like country music or not, this is a great song.  It’s a bit different from some of the Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson that I have posted and is worth a listen.
